Valoneic acid dilactone, flavogallonic acid dilactone, gallagyldilactone, ellagic acid and gallic acid are hydrolysable tannins that can be isolated from the heartwood of ''S. laeviforia''〔5A-Reductase inhibitory tannin-related compounds isolated from Shorea laeviforia.
